Initially started to service the growing demand for exceptional content for use online, Solo Films has quickly grown to become one of the country’s leading providers of creative, high production value, short film content for use across a wide range of media.

Paul Fee

Paul is the Managing Director of Solo Films and involves himself in the creative input and production on campaign work as well as ensuring budget integrity.

Having worked in marketing and advertising for the past 30 years, Paul also directs many of our client’s videos and advertising campaigns.

Paul will be available to clients at all times.

Patrick Stutt

Patrick is Head of Production and brings twenty years of experience as a factual television producer, live news director, corporate film maker and videographer.

He has been involved on numerous productions with RTÉ, BBC Northern Ireland and GMTV and produced corporate films for numerous global brands including BAE Systems, Tennent’s, News UK, T in the Park, Scottish Power and many others.

Cameron Duff

Cameron is our Motion Designer and Lead Animator focusing on titling, motion graphics and animation. Cameron has a decade of experience within the design, video and animation industry.

At Solo, he developed skills in motion graphics and animation to become an accomplished animator having completed projects for Skills Development Scotland, Highlands and Islands Enterprise, Glasgow Chamber of Commerce, Dalziel Retail Butchery amongst many others.

Leila Sabatti

Leila is our Production Manager and studied Film and Television Production at Royal Holloway, University of London, where she specialised in Producing and Documentary Filmmaking as well as studying theory modules such as Digital Aesthetics and Poetics of Contemporary Television. 

Since graduating, she has worked across various art mediums, from game shows to social media documentaries. She has worked for companies such as VICE, National Theatre of Scotland and had their work aired on BBC, ITV and Channel 4. 

After working at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Leila decided to move from Essex to complete a MSc in Media Management at University of Glasgow. This experience allowed her to understand how to manage strategic change within companies and intesively researched the creative industries in the UK. 

At Solo, Leila expanded their skills on shoots and liaises with clients to bring their vision to life. 

Gary Beatson

Gary is one of our videographers and editors who also has a strong skill set within project management.

He has worked with clients such as VisitScotland, News UK and musicians such as Biffy Clyro. Gary has travelled to several countries as a camera assistant on a shoot for Gerry Cinnamon’s tour. At Solo Films Gary has responsibility for sportscotland and various other large scale projects.
